Enjoy the many health benefits of turmeric in this tasty, spice drink!
- 5 cups unsweetened coconut milk or almond
- 1 tablespoon peeled, grated fresh turmeric
- 2 teaspoons of peeled, grated fresh ginger
- 3-4 black peppercorns
Heat all ingredients, Bring to a boil and then simmer, covered for 10 minutes. Strain and sweeten to taste with manuka honey (if desired). Option to add a dash of cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg and/or cloves.
