Orna Villazan BSc, ND

Currently on extended sabbatical

My approach to health is one of compassion and understanding. Making changes for long-term health can be unsettling and challenging at first. When approached from a place of gentleness towards oneself it can be deeply rewarding and healing.

Any illness is a sign of a system that is out of alignment with itself. You know yourself and your body better than anyone else. What steps we explore to help you regain a healthy balance and vitality will depend on what you feel realistically capable of doing. Always with gentleness and an encouragement toward self-forgiveness along the way.

Orna earned her Bachelor’s degree in 1999 from McGill University in Anatomy and Cell Biology with a minor in Psychology. Wanting to learn more about the body’s innate ability to heal, she later continued her studies in Toronto at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine where she attended a four-year medical program in the science of natural healing.

Over the last 10 years, as co-owner of the Harmony Health Centre, Orna has been dedicated to helping her patients regain their vitality. She offers a safe environment in which to explore the underlying issues affecting their health. She is passionate about health promotion and is committed to providing others with the tools they need to maintain a healthy and balanced life.

As well as her private practice, she currently teaches at the Montreal Naturopathic College – Études d’enseignement supérieur de naturopathie du Québec – teaching Laboratory Diagnostics and supervising students in their clinical internship.

From 2008 to 2014, she worked for Creating Wellness, an employee assistance program; where she worked in particular with many cases of burnout, sleep disturbances, hormonal imbalances and digestive difficulties. She lectures regularly in corporate settings and public arenas on various topics including Cancer Prevention, Immune Health, Stress Management, and Healthy Hormones to name but a few.

Orna is a member of the Canadienne Association of Naturopathic Doctors and is registered with the College of Naturopathic Doctors of Alberta.

*As a holistic health provider, I offer supportive and complimentary therapies that aim to restore balance and encourage your body’s natural ability to heal. Whereas I offer naturopathic evaluations, I do not claim to offer medical diagnosis or treatment.

How can naturopathy help you?
